Can I buy tickets at the door for the BrideShow?

Yes. Tickets can be purchased at the door the day of the show for all of our shows. Discount Coupons received at vendor establishments or in the mail may be used at the door. We always have tickets available at the door.

Advance Ticket Sales You can purchase discount tickets in advance on-line. To purchase tickets use our secure web site. Tickets will be sent to you via email. If you need to have tickets sent via US mail, please call our office at 412-206-0096 and have your credit card ready (visa or mastercard). There is a 75 cent service fee per ticket. Tickets to be mailed must be ordered 7 days in advance of the upcoming BrideShow.

Should I bring someone with me to the event?

Yes! Your fiancé, family members, wedding party, and friends can be a great asset to you as you plan your wedding. They can collect information, provide valuable input, give you support, and assist in decision making.

Can I bring my husband-to-be?

Yes! About 20% of show attendees are men.

Can I make bookings that day?

Yes, many vendors will take bookings or deposits. Be sure to bring your checkbook and to inquire about refund policies.

What time should I arrive?

It's best to arrive early and allow yourself time to view one of 3 "Continuous Fashion Previews" at various locations throughout our show floorplan. You can stay as long as you want. Remember, you'll need the time to meet with hundreds of bridal businesses, sample wedding cakes and wedding caterer offerings, enjoy wedding DJ music, watch the hourly bridal fashion previews, and much more! So wear comfortable shoes and enjoy your day!

How many, and what types of businesses will I see at Cavanaugh's BrideShow?

Over 90 different wedding businesses exhibit at our Pittsburgh Marriott show, and over 150 at The Pittsburgh Hilton show. The more than 50 types of wedding products and services exhibited cover everything from the necessities you'll need for your wedding day, to planning your honeymoon and even settling into your new married life.

What should I bring to the event?

• Pre-Printed Address Labels/Business Cards

Many of the vendors will ask you for contact information and enter you in drawings to win prizes for your wedding day. Filling out your name and phone number over and over can get tiring. Business cards are another option. By using computer printed business cards you can include other information not found on a typical address label such as groom's name and wedding date. Printing the cards on your home computer and save on the cost.

• Checkbook

Some vendors offer special show discounts if you book them the day of the show. Keep in mind certain vendors can only handle one wedding per day and their date books fill quickly. For that must-have vendor, be ready to reserve your date!

What will I see at your fashion shows?

Expect to be dazzled by the latest in bridal wear and men's formal wear, plus fashions for mothers, bridesmaids and flower girls. Each bridal fashion preview is unique and presented by a different business. The show features 3 Intimate fashion show stages presented by 4 Prestigious Bridal Salons who allow you to come and go as you please. All viewing is close to the stage allowing you to see the gown detail, talk to the store owners, touch the gown, come back and ask to see your favorite gown again, take your time and enjoy looking.
